Luna Park Productions is a small San Francisco based production company opened in 2005 by producer/director Kate Schermerhorn.
In 2006, our first film Seeking 1906 was broadcast on PBS stations nationwide.
In May 2007 Kate Schermerhorn won a Northern California Emmy for Outstanding Achievement as Director of Seeking 1906. The film was also nominated for outstanding achievement on a Historical or Cultural Program/Special.
Luna Park Production is currently in production on a one hour documentary about marriage. We are also have several new projects in development, including a series of short films about China, hosted by best selling author Simon Winchester.
